Innovations in the Carado 2020 model year

August 2019 – Caravanning is a trend that is growing in popularity, as demonstrated by the number of newly registered vehicles from April 2018 to March 2019: with almost 47,000 newly registered motorhomes, the number has grown by around eight percent compared with the same period from 2017 to 2018. To ensure that short trips and extended holidays on wheels remain unforgettable travel experiences in 2020, Carado has made a number of improvements to its vehicles for the new model year.

With its five model ranges, Carado is living up to the diverse requirements of caravanning novices and seasoned campers alike. The product range includes Camper Vans, Vans, Semi-Integrated vehicles, Overcabs and Integrated vehicles – the right vehicle for everyone. Comfort and relaxation are guaranteed while on tour.

Modifications to Camper Vans
From the new model year onwards, the Camper Vans will continue to be produced at the modern production facilities in Neustadt near Dresden, which have characterised the quality of Carado vehicles since the brand came into existence. In addition to several visual and practical modifications, equipping the camper vans with two Isofix seats as standard is one of the key innovations.

Identical chassis for all vehicles
From the 2020 model year onwards, the switch to a Fiat chassis is a new development for vans. As a result, they and all the Carado model ranges will now share the same chassis brand. In addition, the width of the awning on the V 337 will be extended to four metres. Last year, Carado introduced a new model range with its Vans, which perfectly combine the cosy atmosphere of a Semi-Integrated vehicle with the agility of a Camper Van.

Even more comfort in the motorhome
Carado now equips its motorhomes with an attractive panel for the kitchen window, the design of which perfectly matches the work surface and offers optimal protection for the side panel when cooking. The Semi-Integrated, Integrated and Overcab versions of the
A 464 also feature a panel for the rear bed with a quilted fabric, which blends in perfectly with the interior design of the vehicle. The bench seat in the Overcabs now also features a hatch at the side, creating an additional storage compartment that is easy to access. Carado has enhanced the exterior of the Integrated motorhomes with new wide-angle mirrors, as well as an awning that is five metres in length. With two new layouts, there is now an even greater selection of models to choose from: with the T 338 and I 338, two vehicles under seven metres in length have been added to the portfolio.

With painstaking attention to detail and a few modifications, Carado has made a big impact: the vehicles for 2020 boast even more features and greater comfort.
