We celebrate 15 years of Carado

Do you remember? The last time we climbed aboard to rediscover familiar paths? Or when we looked out of the window for hours but never got tired of it? When we did things to do them together? It's the little things that make these moments unforgettable. The toast together, a short time alone at the lake, the campfire, breathing deeply in a wonderful place. Let's collect these moments. Take them with us. Guard them like a treasure.

Long-distance travel vs. camping. Oliver and Anja from femily.hashtagt swore after their last long-distance trip with children: from now on they will be campers. One family, one word. Shortly afterwards, they travelled to Italy for the first time with the T448 and share their experiences in this interview.

On the road with: Nadine Voigt:

Pre-season round trip

The first road trip together with her boyfriend: While Nadine had spent longer periods in a camper before, it was a completely new experience for her partner. Sceptical at first, he soon discovered the fascination and advantages of camping. Nadine and her boyfriend were equally excited about the possibility of falling asleep and waking up in any place they wanted. Somewhere between the Allgäu, the Matterhorn and Tuscany, the desire to eventually own their own camper van and be able to set off at any time grew stronger.

Weinreise in die Weinberge mit Carado Wohnmobil
On the road with: Tobias Nägele:

Themed tour of Europe's wine-growing regions

Towards the sun - or also in the direction of the various European wine-growing regions. Tobias Nägele set off together with a friend and a girlfriend, and true to the motto "Don't drink and drive" they simply stopped exactly where the wine tasting was taking place. This allowed Tobias to give free rein to two of his passions: his love of wine and his enjoyment of impressive photography. The result: a culinary journey captured in a travel interview.

Together with their dog Chloé, the four of them spent eight weeks between northern Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Lots of water, vast landscapes, high mountains and a life far away from any hustle and bustle - Scandinavia is the perfect destination!

On the road with: Caro Kammermeier:

Highlights in Greece

The first time in Greece! Not so easy to decide what you want to see. Between culture, culinary delights and fantastic beaches, the southeastern European country has so much to offer for traveling in a motorhome. Carolin Kammermeier therefore decided to simply look at as much as possible. She came back with wonderful memories of nature, food and hospitality.

On the road with: Linda Meixner:

Quality time on the Atlantic

Summer, good friends and the Atlantic coast: That sounds like an ideal vacation. But word gets around quickly about where it's particularly beautiful - and of course everyone wants to go there. So why not just keep the places that enchant you to yourself? That's exactly what Linda Meixner and her friend Carola Völk do: Their trip with the Carado Camper Van took them to Cap Ferret - to a place the two love so much that they'd rather keep it to themselves. A travel report about the original meaning of vacation: having a good time.

There is only one broad goal and the intention to be spontaneous and flexible along the way: This trip takes Anni, Thommy and Rosie to Spain, where they say goodbye to old prejudices. With all its sights, Spain can fully score as a travel destination - and even in autumn.

On the way with: Georg Lindacher:

Imposing Alps

The Alps are very popular as a holiday destination and for short trips. The mountains are attracting more and more tourists. Photographer and content creator Georg Lindacher takes us on his three-day trip with the Carado CV540 to the Austrian Alps.

On the road with: Karoline Tigges:

Between nature and Athens

First with a friend and now with her partner. Karoline Tigges was so enthusiastic about her trip to Greece that she quickly packed her two dogs again and set off again. This time on board: her boyfriend Kevin. And something else has changed: Back then with the camper van, this time Karo is on the road with a semi-integrated vehicle from Carado.

On the go with: Karoline Tigges:

4 wheels and 12 paws

Two friends travel with three dogs from southern Germany to Greece. Pretty brave and such a long distance, right? However, Karo and Nikola think that fear has never been a good companion. And just do it. We start with a rough plan in hand. The goal: a good time for two two-legged friends and three four-legged friends.

On the way with: Andre Wagner:

My lockdown escape experiment

A trip to Germany. But not a normal one. André Wagner goes out with his family of 4. To make his ideas as a photographer come true even during Corona Virus times. She reports on this adventure with lots of tips and tricks.

On the go with: Valerie:

The route is the goal
