Of course, our motorhome played a central role. The Carado T457 not only became our home on wheels, but also a gathering spot. Manoeuvring around the campsite was a bit of a challenge, but the whole neighbourhood quickly came to the rescue. Once in the gap, background colour, manoeuvring was rewarded with a shared toast and celebration - an experience you can only have on a campsite. Strangers quickly became friends, and the evenings under the clear starry sky, accompanied by the call of an owl, created unforgettable moments.
On a rainy day, we converted the motorhome into a large cuddly meadow where we told stories and Tavi enthusiastically explored her new ‘caves’ in the storage space. She was particularly proud of a new habit: showering, which had never been her favourite until then, suddenly became a favourite activity in the T457. Cooking together was also a pleasure - the fully equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare fresh meals every day. We got fresh milk and eggs from the farm next door, which we turned into wonderfully fragrant fried eggs in the morning. For the evenings, we bought regional specialities from the local butcher, which we also prepared in the motorhome.
