Patron Plasticfree Peaks is an organisation from the Allgäu region that has made it its mission to get rubbish and plastic out of nature and the mountains in the Allgäu. In the meantime, the project is being implemented at Lake Constance, in the Black Forest and other areas in the German-Austrian Alpine region.
The idea is simple and sensible at the same time: reusable collection utensils are handed out, rubbish is collected together in teams or alone and nature is freed from it. These tours can be entered on a map on the Plasticfree Peaks website.
Every year, several CleanUP Days take place in different regions. Here, teams collect rubbish together. In order to keep journeys to and from the CleanUP Days to a minimum and to support the organisational team on site, Carado provides a mobile home as a mobile office.
Our list looks like this:
• Coffee maker for the perfect start to the day
• CleanUP Kits
• Mountain sports equipment
• bicycles
• Laptops and technical equipment like powerbanks (as we were sometimes without electricity for several days) for the mobile office
• Lighter (for the gas cooker)
Every year, several CleanUP Days take place in different regions. Here, people collect rubbish together in teams and celebrate this together in a nice supporting programme. Find all current CleanUP dates in the interactive CleanUP map!
