Participation in Carado's ‘Carado Stammtisch’ competition is free of charge, regardless of whether you purchase products from Carado GmbH, and is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions. By acknowledging these terms and conditions and deciding to participate in this competition, you accept these terms and conditions.

I. Organiser

The organiser of this competition is Carado GmbH, Ölmühlestraße 6, 88299 Leutkirch im Allgäu, Germany (hereinafter referred to as ‘Carado’).

II. Eligibility

All natural persons of legal age who are at least 18 years old, reside in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom, and own a Carado motorhome are eligible to participate. Carado employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. All persons involved in the design and implementation of this competition and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The term ‘immediate family members’ includes all of the following: spouses, cohabiting partners, children or stepchildren (whether natural or adopted), parents, step-parents, grandparents, step-grandparents, siblings, step-siblings.

Each participant is only allowed to enter the competition once. Each participant may only enter in their own name; the personal details provided must be true. It is strictly prohibited to use multiple addresses or profiles to increase the chances of winning. Participation using fake identities or the identities of third parties is not permitted and will result in exclusion from the competition.

III. Disqualification

Carado reserves the right to disqualify individuals from participation at its own discretion if there are legitimate reasons for doing so. This is the case, for example, if there is reason to believe that a participant has violated applicable law, the rights of third parties, the provisions of these terms and conditions of participation or the rules of the competition, in particular in the case of:

- Manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition

- False or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition

Irrespective of any further rights, Carado is entitled in this case to take the following measures in particular:

- Exclusion of the participant with immediate effect

- Deletion and/or blocking of the participant's contributions

- Subsequent revocation and, if necessary, reclamation of the prize and drawing of a new winner.
 

IV. Competition participatio

To participate in the competition, the following must be observed and followed:

- Participation takes place by stating the reasons why the participant should be included in the regulars' table. 

- This must be sent by the participant by email to gewinnspiel@carado.com.

 V. Participation period

Participation is only possible within the participation period. Any attempts to participate received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.

Participation in the competition is possible from 28 July 2025, 00:00 to 3 August 2025, 23:59.
 

VI. Prize

The prize is a pitch at the Wangerland Wohnmobilhafen ‘An der Ostdüne’ campsite, Bäderstraße, 26434 Wangerland, Germany, for 2 nights from 25 to 27 September 2025 during the Carado Stammtisch event.

The prize includes the cost of 2 nights' accommodation (with limited electricity supply) on the pitch for a maximum of 2 adults, their accompanying children and one dog, as well as ‘all-inclusive’ catering on site. The ‘all-inclusive’ catering includes an extensive range of food for up to six people. On Friday and Saturday, a bread roll service will be provided for breakfast, complemented by a selection of coffees. Breakfast will be served in your own camper; additional food or breakfast accompaniments must be brought along by yourself. Lunch and dinner will be offered both on the event grounds and in the restaurant on Friday evening. All drinks from the official Carado drinks menu are included in the offer. Any additional drinks not listed on this menu must be paid for privately.

The prize also includes tickets and participation in all workshops and events for the Carado regulars' table during the parking period at the Wohnmobilhafen campsite on the Ostdüne.

Payment of a prize in cash or in kind, or its exchange or transfer to other persons, is excluded. The winner may waive the prize. In this case, Carado reserves the right to determine a new winner.
 

VII. Determination of the winner

The winner will be determined within 14 days of the closing date for entries by means of a random draw from among all participants who have entered the competition during the entry period and in compliance with the other conditions of entry. If the competition is linked to specific entry actions, only those participants who have correctly performed the entry actions will be included in the draw.

VIII. Notification of winnings & acceptance of winnings

The winner will receive a direct message from Carado by email. The winner must then contact Carado by email by 10 August after receiving notification of their winnings and provide their full name, valid postal address, Carado model and vehicle number.

If the winner does not contact Carado by 10 August after receiving the prize notification, the prize will not be awarded.

The winner has no right to claim the prize on a specific date. The prize can only be redeemed at the Carado regulars' table at the Wohnmobilhafen campsite at Ostdüne, Bäderstraße, 26434 Wangerland for 2 nights from 25 to 27 September 2025.
 

X. Early termination of the competition 

Carado reserves the right to terminate the competition prematurely, in whole or in part, at any time, even without observing deadlines and without prior notice and without giving reasons, or to change its course if it is not possible to guarantee the proper and scheduled execution of the competition for technical reasons (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons.

XI. Liability

Without prejudice to other statutory requirements for claims, the following exclusions and limitations of liability apply to Carado's liability for damages:

Carado shall be liable without limitation if the cause of damage is based on intent or gross negligence.

Furthermore, Carado is liable for the slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, the breach of which jeopardises the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper execution of the competition and on the observance of which the contractual partners regularly rely. In this case, however, Carado is only liable for the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Carado shall not be liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those mentioned in the preceding sentences.

The above limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health, for a defect after assumption of quality guarantees for the quality of a product and in the event of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act shall remain unaffected.

Insofar as Carado's liability is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of Carado's employees, representatives and vicarious agents.

Carado is not liable for any claims arising from or in connection with a raffled trip or individual travel services.

Carado cannot be held responsible for any technical malfunctions, in particular network, electronic or computer failures.

XII. Data protection

Personal data (e-mail address) is required to participate in the competition; further data (first and last name, address, vehicle model and vehicle ID number) is required to accept the prize. The participant assures that the information provided about themselves and their vehicle is true and correct.

Carado is responsible for the collection, processing and use of participants' personal data. Carado will only use the participant's personal details and other personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions of data protection law. Further information on the processing of personal data can be found in our data protection information.

XIII. Final provisions

Legal recourse regarding the implementation of the competition and the prize draw itself is excluded.

Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic meaning and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.

Carado reserves the right to amend these conditions of participation at any time with effect even during the current competition, insofar as this is necessary due to changes in the law, changes in case law or other changes in the general conditions.

Information obligations for the competition

Carado GmbH is a company based in Germany and is responsible for data protection in accordance with the GDPR. The data you provide us with will be stored in our centralised customer database in Germany.

Purposes and legal basis for the processing of your personal data

The collection and processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR. The legal basis for data processing in the context of the competition is based on your voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The winners will be contacted separately by email in order to collect the data required to fulfil the prize. This data will then be transferred to Wangerland Touristik GmbH for the distribution of prizes. For this purpose, further information about you and your fellow travellers will be collected, such as name, address, email address, FIN, vehicle registration number, food intolerances and date of birth. The personal data will be collected, processed and used for the purposes of administering the competition in accordance with the conditions of participation.

Data transfer within the group

Your data may be shared within the group for administrative purposes. If data is exchanged within the group, this is done for the purpose of conducting the competition or on the basis of your consent. There may also be an interest in sharing this data for internal administrative purposes. If your data is processed outside Europe, this transfer will be carried out in compliance with all applicable data protection laws.

Data transfer to other recipients

No transfer to other recipients will take place. If a transfer to other recipients takes place, this will only be done to the extent necessary for the processing of the prize. These recipients will only act on our instructions and will only process the data for the specified purpose. Any further use will not take place and requires legal permission or consent.

Data transfer to a third country or an international organisation 

Data will not be transferred to a third country or an international organisation. This will only take place if suitable guarantees are in place within the meaning of Art. 44 ff. GDPR.

Transfer to third countries: No transfer to third countries takes place.

Existence of automated decision-making, including profiling

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Storage period 

After the competition has been completed or after you have revoked your consent, your data will be deleted, provided that there are no legal obligations to retain it. The data of the winners will be retained for the further processing of the prize distribution. Depending on the type of competition, legal requirements for storage may also apply to follow-up measures (e.g. in the case of vehicle use and the associated user contracts/transfer agreements). 

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data free of charge at any time, as well as the right to correct, transfer and delete this data; if the deletion conflicts with legal retention obligations, we will have it blocked. You also have the right to object to the processing of this data or to request that we restrict its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If the data processing is based on your consent, you can revoke this at any time for the future.
